Dave and Leah’s wedding Photobooth

Yesterday I was capturing David and Leah’s wedding and as part of that we also ran the photo booth for the evening entertainment. My assistant (Eydth) and I had a great time at the wedding and we managed to get some fantastic images. The weather was super hot and sunny. Normally I’m shooting weddings all over Devon and Cornwall. I haven’t had a local wedding for quite some time. So it was really nice to shoot one only a few miles from home. We even went into a reed bed to get some images as the sun started to fade on the beautiful teign estuary.

But that’ll be a subject of another blog post. Which I must get round to catching up with as I’ve got quite a few weddings to share for insperation.

David and Leah had also booked the fabulous “Loose Cannons” band to play. They were great as usual!

Charity Gala Photobooth Exeter

Charity Gala Photobooth Exeter.

Last night we with the students of Exeter university at The Rougemont hotel, Exeter providing a photobooth for the evenings entertainment. We were next to Jane and her team from www.cremedelacremefuncasino.co.uk.

The evening was a charity event in order to raise funds for the special olympics www.specialolympics.org and the whole evening was sponsored by CMS legal.

Surprise wedding photo booth

Surprise wedding photo booth.

Last night we were over in Chardstock near Axminster in East Devon, for a surprise wedding photo booth. Ann-Marie’s brothers and Sisters had clubbed together to get her the photo booth as a gift for the evening entertainment.  While we were looking after the photo booth they also had a live band playing they were awesome! I didn’t get chance to talk to the singer to find out their name, but I’ll talk to Hayley to find out and pop a link to them on here as I would definitely recommend them. The guests had a brilliant time and the photo booth shot over 490 images in two and a half hours.

Yesterday I was at the beautiful Muddifords Court Country House for Adam and Aimee’s wedding. I first photgraphed them back in April at their engagement shoot at Muddifords court. Have a quick look at the venue post I did when I first visited Muddifords Court. Since then Nicky and Pip have added further accommodation and have plans to do so much more. It really is a wonderful devon wedding venue and I was rewally looking forward to shooting there again. I’ll of course do a new blog post for the wedding pictures once Adam and Aimee have seen them, but first here is a small selection from last night’s wedding photo booth. I hope you have a great time on your honeymoon and I can’t wait to show you your wedding images. We had a brilliant time, your guest really enjoyed the day and photo booth as I’m typing I keep getting face book notifications that somebody else has liked or commented on them. In fact it was so busy at one point I could smell burning dust coming from the flash and everything took a while to cool down. Muddifords Court Country House Engagement Shoot.

Muddifords Court Country House Engagement Shoot.

I recently met up at Muddifords Court Country House for an engagement shoot with Aimee and Adam. Muddifords court country house is a new wedding venue and is already proving very popular with Devon brides. We first met after they found me via the website and loved my style of wedding photography.

We will be back in August for their wedding. I am very much looking forward to sharing some of their wedding images as we’ve planned some great shots. The photo booth will also be in action and I’m looking forward to see the images as it’s always great fun. The guests will be able to see them and download a copy from the facebook business page. So head over to the facebook business page in advance and hit the like button. So this way you will be able to see them first and tag yourself, share with friends. We’ve already planned to use the projector to show the photo booth images during the evening reception and Aimee is planning a set of customised props.

The engagement shoots are fun, relaxed and help things flow on the wedding day, as you have done it all before. We’ll have a chat, talk about you, your wedding, go for a coffee, take a few shots in the types of poses we will use on the wedding day and get some beautiful lasting photographs.

I’ve included some of my favourite images from the engagement shoot. It was good fun even the chickens enjoyed it, well trying to peck Aimee’s feet.
