Peninsula Medical School Graduation Ball Photography and Photobooth

Peninsula Medical School Graduation Ball Photography and Photobooth. Last night we were with the Graduating class of 2013 from Peninsula Medical School jointly run by the university of Exeter and the university of Plymouth. They held the ball in the beautiful grounds of Bicton college. Where I had two roles to perform I was taking images of the students as a memento of their graduation and later in the evening running the photobooth. To access the images of the groups shots please head over to the client area of the website and I believe the password was given to you all. If not drop me an email and I'll send it over. The images are free to download as electronic copies as the graduation ball have already paid for this. But if you want to order prints then you can at anytime through the online shop. http://www.redchilliphotography.com/photocart/ After the meal and the review of the year, by the way which was excellent. How you all managed to coordinate making the spoof music videos. I'll never know.. We ran the photo booth which was a brilliant success. As usual I've included a small selection of the photo booth images  below. All the rest are on the  facebook “Red Chilli Photography” page. So head over and like the business page and see if you can find your images from the photo booth. Don’t forget to tag yourself and please share on your profile. Nicola and Andy’s wedding at Boringdon Hall

Nicola and Andy's wedding at Boringdon Hall.

This was my second wedding of the May bank holiday weekend which is proving the most popular weekend of the year to get married for the last three years. Boringdon Hall has recently gone through a massive programme of refurbishment, the old car park is gone as is the marquee. The car park has been replaced with a beautiful lawn stretching out in front of the building. The interior seems to be constantly changing and updating. Anyway back to Nicola and Andy's wedding. It was held outside in the Gazebo in the glorious sunshine, followed by drinks on the lawn. We spent a little time in the grounds getting a few group shots and then a little time away from the wedding guests capturing a few bride and groom portraits. Before heading back to enjoy the wedding breakfast. Nicola and Andy told be to expect something a little different during the first dance but you'll have to watch the video slide show until the end. Take care and I can't wait to hear about the honeymoon. Dave and Leah’s wedding Photobooth

Dave and Leah's wedding Photobooth Yesterday I was capturing David and Leah's wedding and as part of that we also ran the photo booth for the evening entertainment. My assistant (Eydth) and I had a great time at the wedding and we managed to get some fantastic images. The weather was super hot and sunny. Normally I'm shooting weddings all over Devon and Cornwall. I haven't had a local wedding for quite some time. So it was really nice to shoot one only a few miles from home. We even went into a reed bed to get some images as the sun started to fade on the beautiful teign estuary. But that'll be a subject of another blog post. Which I must get round to catching up with as I've got quite a few weddings to share for inspiration. David and Leah had also booked the fabulous "Loose Cannons" band to play. They were great as usual! All the rest are on the  facebook “Red Chilli Photography” page. So head over and like the business page and see if you can find your images from the wedding photo booth. Family Portrait Photographer

Family Portrait Photographer in Devon - Its about you and your story.

I love being a family portrait photographer and our family portrait photo shoots are a lot of fun and a great way to spend some time together. Our family portrait photographs are about atmosphere, capturing the emotions and importantly fun! If there’s a special toy you want to bring along to be in any photos, then please do. Likewise, if there is a special outfit “knitted jumper by granny” etc, bring that also. Bring something you like, so if you're into music or you're a football-mad family why not bring something along and we'll be able to theme some of your pictures to tell your story about you and your family.

Please feel free to bring a few changes of clothes. But avoid patterns and logos, it does distract from the main focus (Which is you and the kids). Long sleeves are better, plain strong colours, dark blues, blacks. Avoid white. If you want a group/family shot try to keep a theme running through it e.g. all wearing same coloured jeans, all have a hat - you get the idea. But don’t worry, most of all come and have fun, enjoy and get some great pictures. Family portrait photography normally takes one hour in our fully equipped home studio, during which time we'll shoot plenty of varied poses and groups.
