Julie’s birthday party photobooth.

Last night we were at Pier Point for Julie’s 40th Birthday party with the Photo booth. The entire restaurant had be taken hired out for the evening and Julie’s family and friends had come from all over the country for the night.

It was a brilliant evening and as we were setting up the sun was just starting to go down over Torbay. Torquay’s harbour and pier was lit up a glorious orange and there were still a few jet skis and boats out. — Just perfect!

The photo booth was running from the moment we set up until the moment we left with hardly a break for the beautiful food that came out. With well over 400 images shot in a couple of hours!

As the party got underway the band turned up and started their set. They were great! and everybody hit the dance floor.

Mark and Alexa’s Devon Wedding Photography teaser:

I don’t normally show teaser images on facebook or on the website, but I thought I’d try something a little different here, Mark and Alexa I hope you like your wedding photography teaser, video, film thingy I’ve put together. It doesn’t have a name yet! It’s an idea I’ve seen floating around on twitter with photographers using still’s to music. So I thought I’d try and evolve it a little. I’m not sure so tweet me let me know what you think.

I will still do a proper blog post for the wedding and show a few more images. I’m running a bit behind on the blog trying to keep up with this year’s wedding album designs. Vicky and Simon’s Woolacombe Bay Hotel Wedding.

I first met up with Vicky and Simon two days before their wedding at the Woolacombe Bay Hotel. As with a lot of my brides and grooms they don’t live in Devon. However, they chose to come down here to get married as they have a close attachment to the area. Vicky and Simon have been coming to Woolacombe on holiday for years. When they decided to get married there was only one location – the beautiful Woolacombe Bay Hotel.

It was my first visit to Woolacombe, as I don’t often go to the north coast and can see why they wanted to get married here. We had discussed on the phone going onto the beach to get some couples portraits together. Fortunately the weather was fantastic with glorious sunshine.

As usual I like to blog a small selection of images from my weddings to give you a flavour of the wedding day and to show you more work. I had a great time over in Woolacombe with Vicky and Simon, you were a fantastic couple to work with. The staff at the Hotel worked incredibly hard making sure everything was perfect for them.
